Literacy brings us together -- I love that. It reminds me of a quote from Spanish poet/philosopher Octavio Paz, "A community does not make language, language forms community." Great visuals tied together with a strong narrative theme!
Thank you Sara! I'm glad that you were able to make a connection w/our work. We enjoyed it so much. Personally...I think every teacher should attend this conference. The level in which I reflected on my own teaching due to the activities you all engaged us...I can't even put in words how much I grew in a few days... Kylene, Robert, Sara and Michael, Thank You!
